WebI honestly think this cab is still perfectly fine the way it is out of the box for 90-95% who will hook up to it. It is well made and solid, although the corner protectors are only plastic, but for this price, something had to give. The Ht-5 is more of a classic rock amp. If you gain it up it can be a death metal amp but it won't sound good and the low end is crap. It would be nice if they made a 333XL in a pedal. The tolex that covers the amp is thick with a nice grain pattern and a real leather handle. The amp is also has very low hiss even at high distortion levels which is great for players that don't use a noise gate.
